Panties (as they are more commonly known in the USA and Canada) or knickers as we tend to call them in the UK can be made from a variety of fabrics such as silk, satin, lace, cotton, nylon, pvc, leather, lycra and more. Constructing panties out of different fabrics can lead to many different sensations being experienced. Boyshorts take their style from mens underwear and have short legs that extend below the crotch.

Thongs have a narrow waistband with the crotch gusset extending backwards as a narrow strip of fabric which then widens again at the top of the buttocks. Wearing a thong is now very commonplace and many women enjoy wearing this type of underwear.

G-strings are virtually identical to thongs but there is virtually no coverage at all. The string passes between the buttocks and is only just visible all the way to the top of the buttocks at the waistline. Strings are a very sexy piece of underwear and they are also practical as they eliminate a visible panty line so are perfect for wearing under tight fitting clothes.
